Fondata il 3 maggio 2011 dai due attuali azionisti, FNM e Trenitalia, Trenord è tra le più importanti realtà del trasporto pubblico locale ferroviario a livello europeo, sia per dimensioni sia per capillarità del servizio. Ogni giorno su una rete di 2000 chilometri che collega 460 stazioni Trenord effettua oltre 2200 corse, in tutta la Lombardia, sette province delle regioni vicine, il Canton Ticino e l’Aeroporto Internazionale di Malpensa tramite il collegamento ferroviario Malpensa Express.

Founded on May 3, 2011 by the two current shareholders, FNM and Trenitalia, Trenord is one of the most important companies in the European rail local public transport, in terms of size and capillarity of the service. Trenord operates 2,200 daily trips that serve the whole of Lombardy, 7 provinces of neighboring regions, the Canton of Ticino and Malpensa International Airport with Malpensa Express. Our trains reach 460 stations spread over a railway network of approximately 2,000 kilometers.
