L'Ufficio del turismo dell'Algarve è l'unica organizzazione di marketing di destinazione (DMO) nominata dall'Ente nazionale portoghese per il turismo per promuovere la regione dell'Algarve e i suoi prodotti turistici all'interno dei mercati esteri, stabilendo così partnership con il settore pubblico e privato per raggiungere questo obiettivo, come ad esempio campagne di marketing congiunte con tour operator e compagnie aeree, viaggi di stampa e fam, formazione sulla destinazione, fiere, ecc.
The Algarve Tourism Bureau is the only Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) appointed by the Portuguese National Tourism Board to promote the Algarve Region and its tourist products within overseas markets, thus establishing partnerships with both the public and private sectors to achieve this goal, such as joint marketing campaigns with Tour operators and airlines, press and fam trips, destination training, trade shows, tourism fairs, etc.
