Hotel Cosmopolitan Bologna is the first hotel in the city to commit to offering its guests a sustainable stay, allowing them to actively contribute to a zero-impact experience. Our goal is to guarantee quality tourism, completely eliminating our environmental impact by 2027. This year we have introduced a unique innovation: the Room Zero. This room is designed to make our guests protagonists of the transition towards sustainability. The Room Zero package includes all the comforts and services of the basic packages, with the addition of measuring, reporting and offsetting the carbon footprint generated by the stay. At the end of the overnight stay, the residual impact of the Room Zero will be offset through certified carbon credits, in collaboration with our production partners: "Vaia Cube", a start-up from Trentino born in response to the devastating Vaia storm in 2018 that hit the Dolomites, and "Blue Valley", a Veneto company specialized in sustainable fish production.
