Ristrutturato come grande evento nazionale tra il 2004 e il 2006,l'Atomium - che non era destinato a sopravvivere all'Expo 58 di cui era la costruzione di punta -è oggi, con 600.000 visitatori all'anno, l'attrazione turistica più popolare della capitale d'Europa,un centro d'arte e un simbolo internazionale di Bruxelles e del Belgio. Renovated as a major national event between 2004 and 2006,the Atomium - which was not intended to survive Expo 58 for which it was the flagship construction - is today,with over 600,000 visitors per year, the most popular tourist attraction in the capital of Europe, an art centre and an international symbol of Brussels and Belgium. In addition to its heritage value, the Atomium is also a cultural place. Over half of the route is dedicated to exhibitions with themes about Belgium and digital arts.
